Wolves clinch first overall, and remain undefeated
The Ripley Wolves won both games this past weekend to move to 18-0 on the season and clinched first place overall in the process.

The Wolves travelled to Seaforth on Saturday night to face the Centenaires and came home with two points by a score of 5-3.

Dawson Fahrer netted two goals, and singles went to Cody Britton, Derek Skinner and Dan Nicoloff. Assists went to Garrett Meurs (2), Todd Hellyer, D. Skinner, Ethan Skinner, Tyson Soers, Alex Kuntz, Gerrit Satosek and Pat Looby.

Jason Hamilton got the win stopping 26 shots.

On Sunday afternoon, the Wolves hosted the Durham Thundercats in the Den and earned an 8-3 win. Meurs, Hellyer, and Britton led the way with each getting two goals and two assists, while E. Skinner notched two goals and one assist. Drew Davidson, Nicoloff, and Soers chipped in two assists each, while Logan Swanton, Fahrer, and Looby got on the scoresheet with an assist each.

Garrett Golley took the win between the pipes and stopped 25. 

The Wolves finish the regular season this weekend with two games – Friday night in Palmerston to take on the Minto 81s at 8:30 p.m. and at home on Saturday, Jan. 25, vs the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks at 7 p.m.
