Wolves score five in third to drop Durham 7-1
The Ripley Wolves blew open a close game with a five-goal third period to bring a 7-1 win home from Durham.
Ethan Skinner and Garrett Meurs led the way with two goals each, while Brett Catto, Dan Nicoloff and Jarred Colling rounded out the scoring.
Assists went to Skinner (2), Cody Britton, Todd Hellyer, Gerritt Satosek, Evan Visser, Kaden Hoggarth, and Meurs.
Jason Hamilton stopped 27 of 28 shots for the win in net.
The win improves the Wolves record to 6-0, while Durham falls to 1-6.
Ripley returns to the road next Saturday with a visit to Creemore for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop. They don't return to home ice until Dec. 8 when Creemore returns the favour.
