Wolves drop Erin 8-4
The Ripley Wolves improved to 2-0 on the season with an 8-4 drubbing of the Erin Outlaws on Saturday night.
The Wolves fell behind 2-0 early before turning on the jets and exploding for six unanswered goals as they outshot the visitors 49-23 on their way to the win.
Garrett Meurs led the way with a hat-trick, while other goals went to Dawson Fahrer, Jarred Colling, Pat Looby, Drew Davidson and Evan Visser. Assists went to Kaden Hoggarth (4), Meurs (2), Rob White, goalie Garrett Golley, Taylor Woolcott, Gerrit Satosek, Alex Kuntz, Keegan Fischer, Davidson and Colling.
Golley got the win in the first start of his Wolves career.
The Wolves will travel to Milverton on Oct. 26 for a 5:30 p.m. puck drop, and return home on Saturday, Nov. 2, for a meeting with Tavistock at 5 p.m. at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine. The game will be followed by a Jr. C Bulldogs game vs Mount Forest.
