Wolves down Erin 7-3 in Game 1
It wasn't the prettiest game you'll ever see, but the Ripley Wolves weathered some of their own choppy play and early penalty troubles on their way to a 7-3 victory over Erin in Game 1 of our first-round series.

Seven different Wolves lit the lamp, including Dylan Sayle, Kaden Hoggarth, Alex Kuntz, Dan Nicoloff, Ethan Skinner, Garrett Meurs, and Brett Catto into the empty net.

Assists went to Cody Britton (2), Evan Visser, Todd Hellyer, Logan Swanton, Nick Seiler, and Nicoloff.

Jason Hamilton got the win in the Wolves net and made some beautiful saves, most notably on a cross-crease one-timer in the second period that had the crowd gasping.

The Wolves travel to Erin tonight for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop, and will return to Ripley for Game 3 on Saturday, Feb. 17, for a 7:30 p.m. to cap off the Ripley Winter Carnival. Game 4 is back in Erin on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 3 p.m.
