Wolves down Georgian Bay, Tavistock
The Ripley Wolves enjoyed a two-win weekend with a 7-0 shutout of Georgian Bay and a 3-2 win over Tavistock.
Jason Hamilton stopped 25 shots on Saturday night for his second shutout of the season.
Garrett Meurs led the way with a hat-trick and two helpers, while Ethan Skinner added two goals and an assist. Other Wolves goals were scored by Kaden Hoggarth and Jarred Colling.
Other assists went to Cody Britton (3), Hoggarth (2), Dan Nicoloff, Evan Visser, and Todd Hellyer.
On Sunday afternoon, the Wolves travelled to Tavistock and came away with a 3-2 win.
Goals were scored by Nicoloff, Hoggarth and Kyle Durrer. The only assist of the night went to Alex Kuntz.
Hamilton again got the win for the Wolves stopping a whopping 54 shots, while the Wolves threw 29 at the Royals' net.
The Wolves head to Creemore on Saturday, Nov. 26, and return home on Saturday, Dec. 2, vs the Milverton Four Wheel Drives. Game sponsors are Kincardine Home Hardware and Kincardine Quick Lube.
