Wolves lose Game 4 in overtime; trail series 3-1
The Ripley Wolves will try to stave off elimination on Friday night after a 4-3 overtime loss in Tavistock on Sunday.
The Wolves now trail the best-of-seven WOAA Senior AA Final by three games to one, with two of those losses coming in extra time.
It was a nasty, back-and-forth game that Tavistock again tied in the dying minutes of the third period to force overtime. Ripley goals were scored by Ethan Skinner, Cody Britton and Dan Nicoloff. Assists went to Nick Seiler, Gerritt Satosek, Garrett Meurs, Chase Meurs and Skinner.
Jason Hamilton faced 46 shots and made a number of 10-bell saves to give the Wolves an opportunity to even up the series.
Game 5 will be played in Ripley on Friday, March 31, at 8:30 p.m., with Game 6, if necessary, back in Tavistock on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
