Wolves lose Game 2 in overtime
The Ripley Wolves are down 2-0 in the Senior AA Final after dropping Game 2 in overtime on Sunday.

The Wolves led by a goal after one period on a goal by Alex Kuntz, from Nick Seiler and Adam Alexander.

A two-goal second period for Tavistock – both of powerplays – gave the Royals the lead heading into the third period, when Ripley's Ethan Skinner was awarded a penalty shot early. He made no mistake and tied the game.

Just five minutes later, Dan Nicoloff gave the Wolves the lead, from Kuntz and Seiler.

With just two minutes left on the clock, Ripley was given a cross-checking penalty as they defended their goal. A minute later, Tavistock had its third powerplay goal of the afternoon, and the game went to overtime.

Midway through the extra period, Tavistock put one behind Wolves goalie Jason Hamilton, and grabbed a 2-0 series lead.

Game 3 will be held in Ripley on Saturday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m., while Game 4 will be in Tavistock on Sunday at 1 p.m.
