Wolves lose Game 4 by 4-1 score
A sweep over the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks wasn't in the cards for the Wolves as they fell 4-1 in Game 4 before a huge crowd on Saturday night.
Despite numerous outstanding chances – and a few posts and crossbars – the Wolves couldn't solve the Hawks goalie, despite outshooting them 44-30.
The Wolves will look to end the series on Friday, March 10, in Ripley, at 8:30 p.m.
The lone goal scorer for Ripley was Tyler McCarthy, from Garrett Meurs, on a powerplay late in the third period.
Jason Hamilton had another strong game in the Wolves net.
If necessary, Game 6 will be held in Port Elgin on Saturday, March 11, at 9 p.m. If it goes to seven games, Ripley will host the deciding contest on Tuesday, March 14, at 8:30 p.m.
