Wolves win one, lose another in shoot-out
The Ripley Wolves nabbed three of a possible four points on the weekend, with a win in Tavistock and a shoot-out loss to Durham.

On Saturday night in Tavistock, the Wolves tallied three third-period goals to win 5-3.

Goal scorers were Alex Kuntz, Evan Visser (2), Gerrit Satosek, and Garret Meurs. Assists went to Nick Seiler (3), Dan Nicoloff, Cody Britton, Meurs, and Kuntz.

The Wolves then hosted Durham on Sunday afternoon, falling 3-2 in a shoot-out. The Wolves jumped out to a two-goal lead after the first period, but Durham battled back to force the extra frame, which solved nothing. Durham scored twice on Jason Hamilton in the skills competition to win the game 3-2, though the Wolves do net a point by taking the game to overtime.

Goal scorers for Ripley were Tyson Soers and Nicoloff, with assists going to Adam Alexander, Meurs, and Soers.

The Wolves play two road games next weekend, with a trip to Creemore on Saturday, Nov. 26, for a 7:30 p.m. start, followed by a 5 p.m. game in Lucknow on Sunday.

The Wolves return home on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m., vs the Petrolia Squires.
