Wolves drop overtime thriller
The Ripley Wolves and Creemore Coyotes gave the fans their money's worth on Saturday night, in a 5-4 'Yotes overtime win.
The Wolves battled back from deficits all night, netting a late equalizer in the third to force the game to 4-on-4 OT, before Creemore – the league's second place team – ended it.
Goal scorers for the Wolves were Dan Nicoloff (2), Garrett Meurs, and Adam Alexander. Assists went to Meurs (3), Nick Seiler, Nicoloff, and Alexander.
Jason Hamilton took the loss in the Wolves net.
The Wolves travel to Tavistock on Saturday, Nov. 19, for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop, and return home the next afternoon for a 4 p.m. tilt with the Durham Thundercats. Game sponsors are Brucelea Poultry Farms and Current Electric.
