Wolves take 2-0 series lead
The Ripley Wolves jumped out to a 2-0 series lead over Shelburne with a 6-2 road win on Saturday night.
Garrett Meurs had a five-point night (three goals, two assists) and Cody Britton had four (one goal, three assists) to lead the Wolves to victory.
Other goal scorers were Brett Catto and Dan Nicoloff. Other assists went to Derek Skinner, Tyler McCarthy, Logan Swanton and Catto.
Jason Hamilton got the win in the Wolves net.
Ripley will host Game 3 on Friday, Feb. 11, at 8:30 p.m. Game sponsors are She Shed Beauty Boutique and McTeer Automotive.
Game 4 is in Shelburne on Saturday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m.
