Wolves finish first, hopeful for playoffs in February
The Ripley Wolves have been crowned regular season champions by points percentage, as the WOAA has confirmed the lost games will not be made up after the current lockdown ends.
If provincial lockdown rules lessen at the end of January, the WOAA Senior league will begin its playoffs on the Feb. 4 weekend.
By finishing first in the regular season, the Wolves get home ice advantage throughout the playoffs, and will face the Shelburne Muskies in Round 1, if safe to play.
