Due to rising COVID-19
cases in Grey/Bruce and reduced capacity allowances at the Ripley Arena as per
Grey Bruce Health Unit guidelines, the Ripley Wolves are moving all their
fundraising for the Meurs family online, through a Facebook silent auction and
eTransfer opportunity for donations.
The capacity for Saturday night’s 7 p.m. game vs Shelburne is 550 as per the province’s 50% capacity rule for sporting venues, and the Ripley Wolves Executive Committee feel moving all fundraising activities online will reduce congestion in the facility and hopefully help keep fans and supporters safe during these uncertain times.
If you would like to financially support the Meurs family, you can do so by eTransferring funds to
[email protected] or contacting a member of the
Executive Committee to arrange a drop-off if you prefer cash or cheque.
The silent auction will begin Saturday at noon on the
Wolves Facebook page (under Photos > Albums) and end Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Silent auction payments can be eTransferred to
[email protected] once the highest bidder is contacted by the team via Facebook.
Silent auction rules will appear on Facebook and
ripleywolves.com prior to the event’s launch.
