Wolves down Creemore 6-2
The Ripley Wolves got goals from six different players on their way to a 6-2 win on Saturday night in Creemore.
The Wolves fell behind a goal early but scored four unanswered goals over the next two periods as they cruised to the win against the league's newest team.
Scorers were newly-signed defenceman Logan Swanton, Tyson Soers, Jarrett Kuntz, Gerritt Satosek, Brett Catto and Garrett Meurs. Assists went to Alex Kuntz (3), Cody Britton (2), Hunter Robins-Gibbons, Adam Alexander, and Dan Nicoloff.
The Wolves return to Ripley on Saturday, Dec. 4, and will host the Milverton Four Wheel Drives. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Game sponsors are KnJ Farms and Kincardine Home Hardware.
The Wolves will then travel to Palmerston on Sunday, Dec. 5, to face the Mapleton-Minto 81s at 2 p.m.
The Ripley Wolves will also be holding a fundraising game for Garrett and Jenna Meurs to help them as she recovers from her recent car accident. The game – Saturday, Dec. 18, at home vs Shelburne – will be a chance to donate to the family and take home fabulous silent auction items, while supporting the Meurs family as well as charities that are close to their hearts.
