The last time the Ripley Wolves took to the ice, they were the best team in the WOAA Senior A hockey league.
It was March 2020 and little did we know they wouldn't don their jerseys until Oct. 9, 2021, when they welcome Creemore to Ripley at 7 p.m.
The Wolves are welcoming back much of the roster that last skated for them before COVID shut the league down, so they should again be in the hunt for the top seed in the North Division. Creemore is a new team in the North, while Tillsonburg and Elora have dropped out of the league.
Ron Sayle and Josh Catto will coach the Wolves this season, with Al Edwards and Kirk Gibbons providing assistance as the team's trainers. Corey McCrae is back as the club's General Manager.
