Durham forces Game 7 on Sunday
The Durham Thundercats stared down elimination twice this weekend and came away with 6-3 and 6-1 wins, forcing Game 7 on Sunday afternoon in Ripley.

The Wolves will look to put home ice advantage to good use when the puck drops at the Ripley Arena at 2:30 p.m.

On Friday night, the Wolves gave up the game winning goal with five minutes left in the third (followed by two empty-netters) in a 6-3 loss.

Wolves goals were scored by Ethan Skinner (2), and Garrett Meurs. Assists went to JD Falconer, Jordan Moulton, Cody Britton, and Meurs.

Jason Hamilton stopped 24 of 28 shots in the loss.

On Saturday night, the Wolves travelled to Durham and fell 6-1, forcing Game 7 on Sunday afternoon.

Skinner scored the lone Wolves goal, assisted by Christian Monachino and Dan Nicoloff.

Hamilton stopped 28 of 34 shots.

The puck drops on Game 7 on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Ripley.
