Wolves outscore Shelburne 26-4 to take two-game lead
The Ripley Wolves utterly dominated the first two games against the Shelburne Muskies to take a 2-0 lead in their opening-round series of the Ontario Elite Hockey League playoffs.

The Wolves won Game 1 by a 12-2 score and followed that up with a 14-2 drubbing at home on Saturday night.

Game 1 goal scorers were Dan Nicoloff (3), Jordan Moulton (2), Evan Visser, Dawson Fahrer, Garrett Meurs, JD Falconer, Jarred Colling, Kaden Hoggarth and Ethan Skinner.

Assists went to Carter Servais (2), Skinner (2), Gerrit Satosek (2), Moulton (2), Colling (2), Hoggarth (2), Pat Looby, Austin Waite, Fahrer, Falconer, Nicoloff, and Britton. 

Jason Hamilton stopped 30 of 32 shots, while the Wolves fired 53 shots on the Muskies' net.

Saturday night, when the Wolves celebrated Sponsor Appreciation Night, the Wolves impressed the home crowd with a 14-2 drubbing of their over-matched opponent.

Britton and Servais each netted a hat-trick, while Meurs had a pair. Other goals were scored by Craig McKague, Jordan Beisel, Looby, Nicoloff, Moulton and Waite.

Assists went to Meurs (4), Moulton (3), Britton (3), Mike Howes (2), Servais (2), Skinner (2), Fahrer (2), Beisel, Looby, Wilson Shipp, Waite, and Satosek. 

Garrett Golley stopped 18 of 20 shots in the Wolves net for the easy win. The Wolves again peppered 53 shots on Shelburne's net.

Game 3 goes Friday, Feb. 20, in Shelburne, at 8 p.m. Game 4 is back in Ripley on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m.
