Wolves win 2 big games this weekend
The Ripley Wolves go 2-0 this weekend by beating both the Durham Thundercats and Shelburne Muskies .
The Ripley Wolves won a thriller on Friday night, between two of the elite teams in the OEHL, with Carter Servais scoring the game winning goal, his second of the game, with 32 seconds remaining and Jarred Colling adding an empty netter to defeat the Thundercats 6-4.
The other goals were scored by Cody Britton, Garrett Meurs and Gerrit Satosek. Britton's goal was the 500th point in his illustrious career for the Ripley Wolves. Congratulations Cody!
Assists went to Ethan Skinner (2), Meurs (3), Servais, Derek Skinner, and Dawson Fahrer.
Garrett Golley had the start and stopped 35 of the 39 shots that he faced for the win.
On Saturday the Wolves handily defeated the the Muskies 7-0.
Goal scorers for the Wolves were Meurs (2), Christian Monachino (2), Sevais, Colling, and Wilson Shipp with his first goal for the Ripley Wolves.
Jason Hamilton added yet another shutout stopping all 15 shots that he faced for the win.
The Wolves travel to Durham on January 24th for their final game of the regular season as they look to clinch first place overall in the OEHL standings.
