Wolves launch season Oct. 11 vs Georgian Bay
The Ripley Wolves begin their quest for an Ontario Elite Hockey League title on Sat., Oct. 11, at home vs Georgian Bay.
The Wolves, who lost in the OEHL final last season to the Minto 81's after leading the league with an 18-2 regular season, look to take the next step and bring home the championship this year.
The puck drops on the season at 7 p.m. on Oct. 11. Game sponsors are J. Murray Trucking and Ripley Legion Branch 440, whose members will be selling 50/50 tickets at games all season in the lobby.
The arena has also removed many of the old championship banners from around the ice surface and they'll be available to claim in the Wolves Den during the game, by donation.
