Another big third leads Ripley to 7-3 win
As has been the case all season, the Ripley Wolves piled up third-period goals on their way to a 7-3 win on Saturday night.
After a two-goal lead over the Erin Outlaws became a 3-3 deadlock after a busy second period, the Wolves scored four in the third to maintain their perfect 8-0 record on the season.
Garrett Meurs had a hat-trick in the final frame, while other goals were scored by Taylor Woolcott, Brett Catto, Ethan Skinner, and Cody Britton. Assists went to Gerritt Satosek (2), Kaden Hoggarth (2), Catto (2), Mike Howes, Todd Hellyer, Dan Nicoloff, and Meurs.
Garrett Golley stopped 28 of 31 shots for the win in the Wolves net.
The Wolves travel to Tavistock on Saturday, Dec. 7, for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop, before returning to home ice on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m. vs Creemore. Following the game, there's public skating with the Wolves and a meet and greet with Santa, so be sure to bring the whole family!
