Wolves sweep away Huron East

The Ripley Wolves have won the first round of the playoffs as they completed their sweep of the Huron East Centenaires on Friday night, by a 5-2 score.

The Wolves got a hat-trick from Ben Hughes and singles from Garrett Meurs and Tyson Soers in the win. Assists went to Cody Britton (2), Keaton Willis (2), Soers (2), Mike Osadca and Nick Seiler.

Jason Hamilton got the win in the Wolves net.

Ripley now awaits the winner of the Durham/Petrolia series, which Durham currently leads 3-0.
