Wolves win Game 1 3-0

The Ripley Wolves have taken a 1-0 series lead vs Huron East after a 3-0 win on the road in Game 1.

The Wolves got goals from Garrett Meurs and Pat Looby in the second period, with Dan Nicoloff and Jarred Colling assisting on the opening goal, while Looby’s was unassisted. Keaton Willis sealed it with a goal, from Cody Britton and Meurs, halfway through the third.

Jason Hamilton notched the shutout for Ripley.

The Wolves, due to a tournament in Ripley, will host Game 2 in Kincardine tonight, Saturday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. Sponsor is the Nuclear Waste Management Organization.

Game 3 will be held tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 10, in Ripley at 3 p.m. It’s Caesar Sunday in the Wolves Den! And kids, don’t forget your Wolf head and let’s hear ya howl!
