The Ripley Wolves couldn’t hold onto their 2-1 lead in the last minute of the third, and fell 3-2 to Mapleton-Minto in overtime on Saturday night.
Blake Nichol and Dan Nicoloff scored for the Wolves in the first and second periods respectively, with assists going to Brett Catto, Cody Britton, Pat Looby, and Jarred Colling.
Jason Hamilton was in the Wolves net and helped the team bring a point home from Palmerston. The OT loss allowed Clinton to leapfrog Ripley for the league lead, 26 points to 25.
