Wolves down Tavistock 7-2

The Ripley Wolves extended their lead atop the WOAA league standings with a resounding 7-2 win over second-place Tavistock on Friday night.

Though the Wolves went down a goal early, they stormed back to score six unanswered as they cruised to the victory. Goals were scored by Garrett Meurs (2), Cody Britton (2), Tyson Soers, Nick Seiler, and Shawn Stewart.

Assists went to Brett Catto (4), Meurs (2), Brent Walton, Dan Nicoloff, Britton, Jarred Colling, and Blake Nichol.

Jason Hamilton stood tall between the pipes for the win.

The Wolves host Shelburne (3-2-0) on Saturday night at 7 p.m. It’s Minor Hockey Night so kids wearing their jersey get in free! Game sponsor is Current Electric.
