Wolves lose 5-1 to Saugeen Shores

The Ripley Wolves lost 5-1 to the first place Saugeen Shores Winterhawks on Saturday night.

Brett Catto had the only goal for Ripley, a powerplay marker in the second period from Brian Stanley and Drew Davidson.

Mitch Campbell stopped 24 of 28 shots in the loss, while the Wolves fired 34 pucks at Saugeen’s net.

The Wolves travel to Palmerston today to play the Mapleton-Minto 81s, with puck drop at 2 p.m.

Bookmark the Wolves’ new page on Poinstreak, which features the box score of each game, future schedule and team, league and player stats. The entire WOAA Senior A league is now using Pointstreak to maintain its statistics.
