The Ripley Wolves brought home a huge road win on Friday night, defeating Durham 3-2.

Mitch Campbell got the start in net and, though he wasn’t hoping to have two go by him in the first period, he was unbeatable afterward, facing 37 shots for the win.

The Wolves, down 2-0 after one, did all their damage in a two-minute span in the second, scoring three goals to take a load they wouldn’t relinquish. Tyler de Vos got things going from Dylan Sayle and Tyler McCarthy early in the period, and was followed by Cody Britton, from Drew Davidson and Tyler Soehner, just a minute later.

Brett Catto then netted the eventual winner a mere 50 seconds later on the powerplay, from Davidson and Britton.

The Wolves will travel to Petrolia next Friday, before hosting Clinton on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. It is Meet the Wolves Night, sponsored by West Shore Stone and Brick, so bring the kids to meet their local hockey heroes!
