Wolves win Game 3

The Ripley Wolves took a 2-1 series lead with a 6-4 win over the Milverton 4 Wheel Drives.

The two teams are developing a healthy dislike for each other, meaning Game 3 was a chippy affair with Ripley getting 10 minor penalties and Milverton receiving nine.

Ripley goals were scored by Devin Kemp, Brett Catto (2 – one powerplay, one shorthanded), Drew Davidson, Kyle Wreford and Nick Locking. Assists went to Cody Britton (2), Jarred Colling, Ryan Armstrong, Davidson, Jeremy McQuillin, Shawn Stewart, Paul Stewart, Mark Stanley and Corey McCrae.

Kurt Edwards was excellent in Ripley’s net, stopping 27 shots for the win. Ripley peppered Milverton’s goalie with 42 shots.

Game 4 goes tonight in Milverton at 8:30 p.m.
