In Game 2 of the series with the Saugeen Winterhawks the Ripley Wolves came a little too close for the Winterhawks liking. The Wolves once again came out strong and the first period ended with a scoreless tie. Edwards kept the Winterhawks off the scoreboard until halfway through the second when the Winterhawks broke the tie taking a 1 – 0 lead on a power play. Nic Locking started the third period off and tied it up for the Wolves with a power play goal from Jeremy McQuillin and Tyler Devos, but the Winterhawks answered right back taking the lead 2- 1. Despite the Wolves efforts the Winterhawks thought they secured their lead, 3 – 1, when they scored on a power play with 1:27 left in the game. The Ripley Wolves did not give up and Tyler Devos made the score 3 – 2 with 38 seconds left on the clock. Assists went to Mark Stanley and Travis VanGaver. The Wolves battled until the end but ran out of time to end the game in a 3 – 2 loss. Another strong game for Edwards stopping 29 shots and the Winterhawks Roulston stopping 32.
