The Ripley Wolves will battle for their playoff lives on Friday night in Elora, after suffering a 4-1 loss on Saturday night, in front of a packed house at the Ripley Arena.
The Wolves, who are now down 3-1 in the series, jumped out to an early lead on a Tim Dwinnell goal from the slot, but couldn’t capitalize on scoring chances the rest of the way, as Elora scored four unanswered goals over before the end of the second period. Assists on Dwinnell’s goal went to Corey McCrae and Derek Regier.
Kurt Edwards played another strong game in the Ripley net, stopping 34 shots.
The Wolves will try to force a Game 6 on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. in Elora. Should they be successful, the series will return to Ripley on Sunday, March 10, at 2 p.m. Watch our Twitter (@RipleyWolves) and Facebook pages for updates on Friday night.
