Wolves take 2-0 series lead on Erin
The Ripley Wolves have jumped out to a 2-0 series lead with a 5-3 road win over Erin on Saturday night.
Once again, the Wolves showed their depth as five different players scored in the victory. Scorers were Dan Nicoloff, Mike Howes, Garrett Meurs, Ethan Skinner and Cody Britton.
Assists went to Todd Hellyer (2), Evan Visser, Tyson Soers, Brett Catto and Britton.
Jason Hamilton stopped 32 of 35 shots for the win in yet another penalty-filled affair.
Game 3 will cap off the Ripley Winter Carnival on Saturday, Feb. 17, with a 7:30 p.m. puck drop. Game 4 will be played in Erin on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 3 p.m.
